Central Park Playing Cards

Our playing cards feature Spring in Central Park by Adolf Dehn (American, 1895-1968). A painter and lithographer, Dehn was known for his humorous satires and social commentaries on modern life. While living in New York City, the artist captured scenes from Harlem nightclubs, burlesque theaters, Central Park, and high society. This delightful 1941 watercolor is one of several bucolic views of the skyline and park that he painted at different seasons.
