Gumpertz Storytelling Mug
Featuring a “ruin” apartment and the recreated parlor workshop of Natalie Gumpertz, a German single mother who raised her three daughters in 97 Orchard Streeet on the Lower East Side in the 1870s. Preserved for storytelling, “Ruin” apartment in 97 Orchard Street are spaces acting as timecapsels – left as they were found when the museum purchased the building.
